Session Update

Session Meeting Highlights

Highlights of the October 26 meeting of the Session include the following:

• Reviewed stewardship materials for 2010, including personnel budget proposals. The Session encourages the entire congregation to prayerfully consider how their pledge of support for next year will influence what we are able to achieve in ministry.
• Approved joint Thanksgiving Eve service with St. Andrews Lutheran Church.
• Welcomed Rev. Fernando Rodriguez as a guest at the meeting, and dialogued with him regarding the Bilingual New Church Development.
• Received update on building project (see below).
• Noted John Knox will host a workshop of the Indianapolis Center for Congregations on Thursday, November 19.
