No, it is not a misspelling! The NFL Super Bowl is played on February 5, 2012, right here in Indianapolis! It is a very exciting time for the city, but not for everyone. The winter months present another challenge to those that are jobless, homeless, and hungry. Food sources are depleted after the big bounty around Christmas time, and transportation to obtain food is limited.

Please join your Mission Team and the John Knox Youth by participating in the 2012 SOUPER BOWL program! On Super Bowl Sunday we will be collecting cans of soup to be placed---literally, in a soup pot! If you prefer, you may also give $1 per person to the fund. All proceeds stay in our neighborhood and will be donated to St. John's Storehouse. Super Bowl Sunday is also our regular Food on the First Sunday. Please consider giving an extra hot bowl of soup to a hungry neighbor on SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY!
