Fitness Groups
John Knox Presbyterian Church offers two fitness groups which meet regularly at the church. Special fitness activities are also offered.
Please refer to our calendar for specific dates and times.
Morning group
Mondays, 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
A moderately paced class focusing on strength, balance, and flexibility training. Everyone works at his or her own level. Many exercises can be done while seated.
Evening group
Mondays, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
A variety of beginner/intermediate class formats such as step aerobics, kickboxing, toning, and circuit training focusing on improving aerobic function and overall strength. Please bring a mat or towel for floor work.
July Tidings Announcement
Plan to try out one of the fitness groups in July. For each first time participant, a $10.00 donation will be made to the capital campaign. Groups meet in the Forum Room from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 6:00-7:00 p.m.
