Worship At John Knox this Sunday!

You're invited to join us this Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 10:00 am for our Morning Worship Service. The Session of John Knox Presbyterian Church has called for a congregational meeting to take place this Sunday, January 22, 2023, immediately following the worship service. Docketed at this meeting is the election of the officers of the corporation, nominating congregational representatives for the 2023 Nominating Committee, and receiving the approved budget for 2023 and this year’s annual report. Then stay for a Chili Party hosted by the Mission Transition team and be the first to hear their report on what they heard from the five mission study groups.

As we monitor the Covid virus, we see an increase in cases in our area and flu and RSV. Just a reminder that if you are not feeling well, even if you think it is something as simple as a cold, PLEASE STAY HOME and worship via Facebook. As usual, masks and hand sanitizer are available in several locations at the church. Let's keep everyone safe and healthy.

Crazy Cards - February 4 - 5:30 pm
 
It is time to have some FUN and FELLOWSHIP! The Deacons invite you all to join us for a night of food, fellowship, and CRAZY cards (no card-playing skills needed)!
 
WHO: Any and all adults interested in having a fun evening. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy terrific snacks and to get better acquainted with other adults in our church family.
SNACKS: Each of us is asked to bring a snack to share. Beverages will be provided.
PRIZES: Door Prizes will be awarded to four lucky players.
COST: Optional $5 donation for the 20/20 Fund.

RSVP: Please let us know you are planning to attend by signing up on the sheet posted on the bulletin board outside the Church Office. If you have a card table at home, please bring it. And know that childcare can be provided - just mark that on the sign-up sheet.

Ash Wednesday - February 22 Supper and Worship

On Wednesday, February 22, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall at 6pm for our traditional pancake supper. Our thanks to Nancy Orme and Sandy Jordan and their assistants in preparing our meal! Following supper, we will have worship with scripture, prayer, and the imposition of ashes, marking the beginning of our remembrance of the Season of Lent. Please join us for this special evening of worship and fellowship
